A hand-built vessel in a pale glaze, its sides broken by geometric inset forms that catch the light like a map worked in low relief. Koocanusa names a reservoir up on the Montana border, and the title lets the piece carry a whole landscape without illustrating a single inch of it. The studio builds the form and lets the glaze find the rest.
