Inquiries.
For commissions, sales of pieces shown on the Works page, gallery and exhibition conversations, and press requests, the studio reads everything that comes through this page. A reply usually arrives within a day or two.
Working with the studio.
The studio takes on a small number of commissions a year, usually a vessel, a wall piece, or a small grouping for a specific room. The conversation begins with a sketch and a glaze direction; the timeline is paced by the kiln, never by the calendar. Owner to supply specifics on range and lead time.
Pieces from the Works page.
Pieces shown on the Works page can be inquired about by title. Pricing is shared in reply. Shipping or pickup in San Antonio is arranged piece by piece, depending on size and fragility.
By appointment in Monticello.
The studio is open by appointment. A visit is about an hour. You will see pieces in progress, the kiln, the glaze shelves, and recent work that has not yet been published. Owner to confirm fee, booking tool, and whether the address is published.
Exhibition conversations.
The studio welcomes conversations with galleries considering representation, group shows, art fairs, or special projects. Please mention the show, the venue, and the timing in your note.
Writers and editors.
Press requests should mention the deadline. High-resolution images are available on request through the press kit. A short studio statement and a current bio are included in the kit.
Anything else.
If your note does not fit one of the above, write it anyway. The studio reads everything. Choose Other on the form and tell us what you are after.
